Terms of Service

1. What Wishlet is
Wishlet is a personal wishlist service: you save things worth watching, reading, eating, or visiting, optionally publish a public list at your handle, share wishes with friends, and collaborate on shared lists. These terms apply to the Wishlet website and mobile apps (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.
2. Your account
You need to be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Handles are first-come, first-served; we may reclaim handles that impersonate others, infringe trademarks, or violate these terms.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you post: titles, notes, images, lists. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and distribute that content solely to operate the Service (for example, showing your public list to people who open your link). Content you mark private stays private to you; content marked “friends” is visible to accepted friends; public content is visible to anyone.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Wishlet to post content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, deceptive, or that exposes someone else's private information. Don't spam, scrape, probe, overload, or interfere with the Service, and don't attempt to access other users' private data. We may remove content and restrict features to enforce this.
5. Reporting, moderation, and bans
Every public wish and profile carries a Report action. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, typically within 24 hours. We may unpublish or delete content, remove images, reclaim handles, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these terms. Banned accounts lose write access immediately and their public content is hidden. You can also block any user, and their content disappears from your view and they can't send you friend requests. 6. Wishlet Plus
Plus is an optional paid upgrade (monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase) unlocking perks like unlimited wishes, themes, custom images, collaborative list creation, profile customization, and your yearly stats recap. Payments are processed by RevenueCat and its underlying payment providers (Stripe on the web; Apple in the iOS app). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancellation stops the next renewal and Plus stays active until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with notice ahead of your next renewal. Except where required by law or the app store's own refund policy, payments are non-refundable.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the account page. This permanently removes your profile, handle, wishes, lists, friendships, and uploaded images. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or where required by law. Upon termination your license to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature survive (licenses already exercised, disclaimers, limitations of liability) survive.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content (including link previews fetched from third-party sites) is accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wishlet and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. For material changes we'll give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
